Jessica Molčan is in her twenties and resides on the west coast of Canada on beautiful Vancouver Island. After completing her Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Visual Art, Jessica has continued to pursue her artistic endeavours as both a freelance illustrator/designer, and a practising visual artist, booking shows and selling pieces. Her inspiration is derived from her subconscious, fears and hopes, observations and the world around her. Jessica is continually striving to better herself and skill set as an artist.

Her pieces each contain their own haunted preservation of memory and can be read a variety of ways. Fascinated with the push and pull reaction, Jessica attempts to make her audience uncomfortable while still presenting a thing of beauty. This reaction has been consistent among Jessica's showings, and is especially true of the pieces most visceral, ominous and disturbing. It is the chase of this reaction that helps Jessica to keep evolving as an artist.
